AFISHINADO CHARTERS specializes in teaching fishing skills. We guarantee whether you are a novice angler or a seasoned fisherman you will learn skills that will improve your ability to Fish Catalina Island. We offer both spinning and conventional reels and our charters represent a great opportunity to learn fishing techniques with each.
Whether you choose Mojo or Afishinado you will be fishing with excellent gear so you will not need to cart your gear to the island. You may choose to bring your own, but remember our gear is set up for the type of fishing we do and we do not charge any extra. Our price includes all gear, tackle, the boat, the bait, the Captain and a good time.
Afishinado: Our flagship vessel Afishinado is a top-of-the-line boat and to complete the experience for our angling customers we have single and two-speed AVET Reels on board. These are premium, American -made reels that will put the hurt to any fish that is unlucky enough to chomp the bait. Our AVET Reels are attached to custom rods built just for Afishinado.
MOJO: Our sexy, red-hulled speedster MOJO carries mostly Shimano gear, including the Charter Special lever drag, level wind reel as well as the Shimano Baitrunner. These reels are attached to Rogue Rods, some of the finest rods made in America. The fish do not have a chance!
