Isthmus sight seeing trip: Let us take you for a slow cruise up the coast to the small village of Two Harbors where you can step into the past by peeking into the windows of the one-room school house, try the rope swing on the rise that defines the Isthmus, ask for a tour of the grow out pens for the White Sea Bass and Yellowtail, pick up some supplies at 'the store', order a burger at 'the restaurant' and have a Buffalo Milk at 'the bar'. Then we head for a high speed run back to Avalon with the wind at our backs. Five hour trip on MOJO or AFISHINADO
Circumnavigate the Island: I have done it many times, but there are not many else who have. The island is extremely rugged and yet very diverse. The photographic opportunities are endless and the rustic beauty of Catalina will leave you feeling very humble. This can be dome in a half day, but the best plan is to take the full day and include a stop at Two Harbors on the itinerary. Seven hour trip on MOJO or AFISHINADO
Cove Hop: Bring your snorkel gear and a towel, a good book, your i-pod and some sun screen. We can pack a fantastic lunch for you from CC Galaghers and then our boat becomes your sanctuary for the day. There is no real 'destination' for this charter other than to reach out for the peace and tranquility that a private cove and a good swim can deliver. Or, just hang out and listen to some music, watch the sea life and think back to what the world must have been like when Catalina was home to the indians and the eagles. 6 hour trip on MOJO or AFISHINADO
Sea Life Tour: We visit the Sea Lion rookery and we look for the bald eagles that nest in various coves around the island. There are also a number of birds that can be seen, some that would make a unique addition to any birders log. Then we head offshore to see if we can find a pod of porpoise or even a whale or two. MOJO or AFISHINADO
Escape to another island: We have a few islands off the coast of Southern California, and we can reach two of them within a day, San Clemente and Santa Barbara. On an extended day we can reach San Nicolas which is the westernmost island in the chain. Exclusive AFISHINADO tour approximately 10 hours.
Mainland: Sometimes you just need a way to get to or from the island. Our rates will vary depending upon your mainland destination from Marina Del Rey to San Diego and whether you choose MOJO or AFISHINADO.
